An Interview With Sandip Ray - Indian Movie Director

Sandip Ray is a Bengali film director and song director who mainly work in Indian cinema. He is the sole son of the legendary Bengali film director Satyajit Ray. He is also known for his music work and has worked with top directors such as John Boorman, Yash Chopra, Arundhati Roy and Amit Deshpande among many others.

Born in West Bengal in the year 1969, Sandip was brought up in the midst of poverty by his father. He went to live in Delhi when he was just fourteen years old where he met his first director - Yash Chopra.
