Bengali Serials

Bengali serials are very popular in India and are loved by everyone. Most of the time, serials written in English are translated into Bengali for the viewers and the film script is edited so that the language can be understood. Even today, some Bengali serials are still being made and produced in South India and other parts of India.

Bengali is a dialect of the Hindi language, which was derived from Sanskrit. It was originally spoken in India but is now the most commonly spoken language in the whole of Asia. In India, there are three main groups of people belonging to this language family namely, Marwaris, Kolis and others.

The main character in both these serials is Abhijit Majumder, who is a poet and writer. The film script was also changed to make it more understandable to the Bengali people. He also wrote his book about 'Ranjara' in a Bengali script, which was later made into a movie called 'Tunga'. Abhijit Majumder is an immensely talented artist and a great poet.

Another important character of Bengali serials is Mukesh Bhattacharya, who was born in a small house with his brother in a village in West Bengal. His father was a teacher and his mother was a housewife. He began writing poetry and literature at a very young age and eventually turned to cinema as an artiste. The movies that he has made in this field are some of the best ever films ever made.

Most of the Bengali serials have their own versions of history and myths. These stories are told in a manner to make them very interesting and at times, even a little mysterious.
